NAVTEQ signs new deal with MapQuest
Under the new agreement, MapQuest now has access to all 73 countries in the NAVTEQ map database, as well as future country releases which will be utilized in both its Internet and mobile applications.

Nokia, Orange aiming for 10M customers using Nokia Maps in 2010
The partnership between Orange and Nokia will include the addition of ten new Nokia handsets to the Orange Signature range and the addition of music to a combined offer of games, advertising, maps and location-based services.

iPhone Gets New GPS Photo Technology
The iPhone Software 2.0 update will offer location-based photo-tagging which the user can turn on and off. The updated software will ask a user, after taking a picture, if they want it tagged with the geographical location.
