Nokia Completes Plazes Acquisition
The Plazes deal builds upon Nokia's 2007 acquisition of Navteq, upon which it's laying its mobile navigation and social networking features.


Intrinsyc and NAVTEQ Sign Map Distribution Deal
Intrinsyc is signing a multi-year agreement establishing a sales relationship with NAVTEQ. The Intrinsyc - NAVTEQ agreement will see NAVTEQ map content bundled with Intrinsyc navigation software.


Blaupunkt enters in-car navigation devices market
Blaupunkt forayed into in-car portable navigation devices market in India with the launch of three models under the TravelPilot series. Blaupunkt's TravelPilot series will use the maps from MapmyIndia.
